how much light for my stealth grow locker's veg chamber?

my veg chamber will be 1 1/2ft-2ft tall with 4 square feet of space.. how much cfl watts do you think i need for it to be able to comfily house 3-4clones and a mother plant?

hmmmm small box....... but I would say 2 6500k CFL's would prob do just fine. I'm no expert.....yet

From what I've read, when it comes to CFL's, you should be at about 100w per plant (not 100w equivalent, but actual 100w). I don't think space plays as much of a factor but I would imagine it does some.

I use one 23W cfl in a rubbermaid with about 8 clones. They grow especially the one right under the light but not super fast.
That one light works fine for rooting cuttings in the bubble cloner as well.

One small cfl will work but get at least 2 bulbs, low wattage to keep things cool. Stay around 30 - 50 watts and if you use like 4 exhaust fans then definitely don't go over 100 watts total. I know you want to blow things out.

thanks for the replies everyone. but do ya think that low wattage would work for a mother and 4 clones? and a 100w a plant would probably be to much because their clones.. and 1 mother.. btw its going to be a stealth locker thats about 2x2x6n1/2-ish. i plan on having 2 chambers one for veg/clones and one for flowering.
