How much light?

Starting up a small setup, maybe a wardrobe or something? Just wondering how much Watts each light should be for each plant? Say, if i had 3 plants in same area would a 42w 6500k cfl be sufficient hanging above each plant? Is this enough light or is it more than I'll need?

as much as possible without compromising heat, that is the honest simple answer. More is better but to hot is bad, so start with 2 X 42w 6500k cfls and temp meter and work it up from there. good luck.

I agree. A 42 watt cfl would be good on top but adding side lighting will help with growth and bud development. The more the better as long as u can keep temps low. Also using white paint or mylar on the walls will help. Keep us updated on your grow sutto.

Prob going to put 2 plants in wardrobe? Was going to line walls with Aluminium foil, 2 42w 6500k above and 1 28w 500k on each side. Is this alright? Will it get too hot as i have not looked into venting as yet? Also i have not purchased globes yet, will be ordering them tomorrow prob do any advice well help. thankyou

my blue dream was growing OK with just the 68w top light had about 9 bud sites at a month old now its 2 weeks past when i put the lights around it now i have over 30 bud sites

emergency blankets are better i got no reflection from and actually created VERY hott temps until i switched to the emergency blankets which are in a tiny package at walmart in camping section for 3 dollars a piece it took 2 to line my closet
