how much longer?

I was curious if anyone could tell me by looking at them how long till my girls start filling out and really start budding. Trichomes are developing heavily on them and they are definitely getting bigger, i guess im just getting a little impatient, but if someone could take a look and tell me how im doing. im coming up on day 49.

that would make sense just kinda wanted to get some thoughts to back up my own. do you think week 11 if when i should flush?

Yea I would say another 3 to 5 weeks til they are ready....personally I've never taken mine right til the end, I've always chopped them down through my impatience lol but I'm only growing to make money not for personal use, they are looking good tho...love it when their at this stage it gets pretty exciting when they fill out so much!!

i feel you on being impatient haha, they smell so good right now, ive been waiting for them to get to this stage, now that its here i want them done.

Patience is the toughest lesson to learn growing weed. Here's a rule of thumb "When you think your plants are ready...wait a week and repeat".

If you haven't gotten one yet, go to your hydro store or Radio Shack and get yourself a hand-held microscope (with a built-in light)...They cost about $15. Look at your plant's trichs and you'll see they're all clear. Check them a week later and you'll probably see some milky trichs and that means you're getting there.....when you start seeing amber....time to chop.

thanks for the advice man, ive always thought for some reason those are expensive, but i just checked my local hydro shop and i can get one for 20 bucks. definitley going to be picking one up

Nice frost on those, but they'll definitely fill out in the next few weeks. Impatience is your worst enemy when growing. And you also see all those white pistils, theyre nowhere near close.
True way to tell is the trichs tho.

Thanks, i cant wait till shes completely covered in frost, Im going to pick up a handheld microscope so i can keep an eye on the trichs, i just wanted some opinions. i will definitely be posting in 2 more weeks to show you guys where they are at.

Nice deep green on the leaves... definitely on the right track... Im assuming you're using a magnifying glass in those pix; you'll def need the handheld microscope. i tried looking at trich this morning through a magnifying glass... end result= i realized i gotta get microscope also lol

^^^scrap that... well at least a pocket microscope. I damaged too many trichs trying to get a decent view and going by trich is complete bullshit. Did some research on it and its really a matter of common sense. Amber trichs /are/is degraded thc but it will not make a sativa have a couchlock high. THC CANNOT CHANGE THE GENETICS OF A PLANT. SIMPLE COMMON SENSE once you really think about it. Ppl have just been running with that info cause others have been spreading it.

You can clearly tell a ripe flower by looking. A golden rule of thumb is, when you think it is done; wait one more week.
