How much longer?

u want to cut the plant when it is like 75% 65% milky the rest are clear

with the 7 to 10 days of drying those clear ones will milky up and a few of the milky ones will amber ..............but the major part of it will be milk

rem to flush the soil /hydro system and give her 2 days of total darkness before u cut (get that last push for resin weight before u cut it why 2 days of darkness)

Your done! now it is a matter of preference. Did u flush? Most people do at least 3 flush of regular water, use about 3 times as much as the pot is. 5 gallon pot 15 gallons of water, some recommend u do this 3 times. I use FlorsKleen by General Hydro. Flush with FloraKleen, then I follow that up 2 or 3 days later with straight water. Darkness? If u have time, go a head. Yes it will stress the plant out. When the plant is stressed it produces an oil that actually protects the Trichs. Does it make a better product, I would say by 2%. Kinda like curing. For me, people who have to have cured weed are pretentious. People who like to cure, but don't require it, are afficianodos. This is my opinion.

The reason you give 1-2 days of darkness (12 hours dark is enough really), is to give the remaining leaves time to break down their starches into sugars, which are then burned to fuel growth. Leaves store enough starch to last exactly one expected night length so growth rate is consistent between day and night.

The increase in resin production is an unconfirmed myth, but a reduction in starch will ultimately mean a more potent product (less shit).

Also, to stay on topic. I think you should wait a bit longer too.

Wait for a couple more opinions I personally think she may need a little longer but yes like Washington said its a matter of preference and he gave some good advise about flushing her first.

It's strictly what you prefer but I personally wait till the majority of trics turn cloudy and that usually occurs when there are 5% or less amber trics. That's strictly my preference and from my experiences. Since this sounds like its your first harvest you might what to harvest some buds now and the rest later. It might help you decide on how "ripe" you like your buds.

Thats the plan. I have 4 plants and each one will be harvested a little differently. Each was grown using a different method as well. This is the test run to show me what works best for my setup.
