So I have been at this for years now.
But I have recently moved home, setup insulated room in my brick garage. Run 4x 1000w HPS, two sides with an alley in middle (narrow, usually end up having to crawl). Around 1.5m x 3m each side for two lights.
My setup is scroogged so significant number of buds.
I have a 1.2x2.4m tent I am hoping to set up in the uninsulated part of the garage.
I plan to use a RVK 4” which I believe is around 180cfm. It’s all I have spare, I could buy bigger if suggested before harvest
I have netting to go across the roof of the entire tent.
I could also maybe set up another net half way down one half of the tent, adding 50% extra area. The other half will have heater / circulation fans so not doable on both sides.
Before my house move I had so much extra room, drying space / cramped ness of buds, was never even a thought.
I am in Scotland, and sadly we are entering into the dampest most humid time of year, but I have never had issues with mold after chop before, only when growing, even with drying with constant above 65% (often much higher) humidity intake.
Another reason for my concern is I plan to dry while untrimmed for the first time ever, and give a hand turn trimmer a try when dried. I will obviously be removing all fan leaves.
I could buy and fit a larger tent if really needed before harvest in 2-4 weeks.
