How much space should I have between plants

Hello Everyone. I am brand new to this site and havent really ever grown anything worth speaking of until now.
Currently I am near the end of the veg cycle on some Sour Bubble by BOG and the plants are getting very bushy. My question is how far apart should the plants be for max yield? They have gotten so bushy that the leaves are starting to touch each other. Is this a problem? Thanks in advance for all your helpful information.

I have them in 3 gallon buckets that are literally right next to each other. The leaves from one plant are growing over into the space of its neighbors and partially covering their leaves. However the leaves at the very top of the plants are all receiving light.
One plant may be partially shading a few leaves of its neighbor and then that plant has new growth which partially shades the leaves that were once shading it.
Would you consider this a problem that could affect the yield at harvest and if so should I seperate them so that the plants are next to but not touching each other? (possible but not necessarily convenient)

doesnt sound like much to stress about.

do you have good reflection in your growspace? you can turn and rearrange the pots daily so that they get better light

Decent but not great reflection in the grow room. I am working on improving that right away. I can rotate the plants daily if you think that would improve their yield. They are in their pots inside of a small child pool so I dont have to worry about water leaking over and on to the carpet and moving them further apart would mean I have to go get a larger kiddie pool. Like I said possible just inconvenient.

whit paint and emergency blankets are great reflectors for a budget grow. how much could a bigger kiddie pool cost, or something better like some big tray?

Depends a lot on the light. CFLs tend to not penetrate canopy as well as HID lighting does. Also depends on what you consider decent yield. Of course if every leaf is able to get full light then that would let the plant grow the most, but if you've ever looked at say a bubbleponics using a rubbermaid the general design is 6 plants all about 5-10 inches from the other and yields still come out very good. Basically the more light the better, but the plants will grow eitherway.

i dont think it should be that big of a problem man ive seen plants litterally entangled with each other
