How much water

I have 2 plants that I transplanted into 3 gallon fabric pots. I've been adding 1/2 gallon water to each plant. I see run off at the bottom each time. But I'm wondering if I should be adding 1 gallon watering to each plant. Any suggestions?

Also I have been water every 2 days, and I have to tall towering oscillating fan that huts the bottom of the pots to the top of the plants (18in). Should I use a different fan so the air isn't hitting the pots nd plants directly or is this fine? I think the soil dries out quicker with direct air..

To much water will leech out some of the stuff you want. 1 full gallon in a 3 gallon grow bag is a bit much.

Water to runoff roughly 15 - 20%. Dont over do it though.
