I live on a small island though ;0/
Don't worry abt it, the feds have better things to do than to spend time and money chasing down someone buying on the net. Neither have they any inclination as to what you're buying the product for. They can't bust someone based on a guess.

I've heard of people getting busted from brick & mortar hydro shops by either getting tailed home, having security footage taken to get license plates, or having transaction records taken.

Never heard of anyone getting busted ordering online. I think the delivery of all the equipment raises more eyebrows than the ordering. My mailman HAS to know at this point, too many places aren't discreet about labels or boxes and until I started with the site I order from now, I had a bad experience or 2, getting stuff like a 3'x3' box labeled General Hydroponics in 12" green letters. Thanks assholes...:cuss:

Like when I had my Harley shipped from TX to WA. A coworker went to lunch and came back "Your Hog got here". I hadn't told anyone so how did she know?

"It says in big letters on the shipping crate "Your Hog Has Arrived'"

Just what I didn't want the thieves knowing until there was no way to keep it a secret. For sure until I could beat it home to uncrate it and lock it up. Work operating room so "my kid just called real sick and my old lady is out of town." I've had the bike longer than any old lady.

lol I second that about delivery issues.

I once had a big bag of perlite sent to me in a nice big box but on the side it said in big letters "HOME GARDEN GREENHOUSE." It sat out by our front door all day for everyone to see before I got home. Another time a carbon filter came well packed but it had the CFM and some other ratings in large letters and the word CARBONFILT on a large sticker on the box. I never made the mistake of ordering from a place that doesn't specifically ship discretely again.

Don't freak out. You know darned good and well that all these data mining companies know just about every detail of your life. Customer loyalty cards at everything from Lowes to Safeway grocery stores, gas stations, gun shops and porno stores. Debit card transactions for purchases or bill pay. Oh hell man they know exactly what kind and color of toilet paper you wiped with this morning if you crapped at home. And since they know where you work they know what color it is there too. Don't forget the communications laws that allow them to request records from your ISP regarding your IP so they can whack your peepee. Hell, brother, go for it. Just be cool, fool. Remember - no guts, no glory. Go buy a Green Dot prepaid debit card at Wally World. They can be recharged. Use an address that's not yours, like your mom's, in case the cops do swoop in.

Ive brought items this way for ten years never had a problem just buy from a place that rap your items descritly. I never walk into a hydro shop cuz of the risk of being followed a freind of mine got followed not by the law but by some robbing scum bags who bust his jaw and took every thing he was growin even cuttings.......

The stuff you buy to grow weed can just as easily be used to grow tomatoes. Last time I checked feds aren't kicking in indoor tomato grows. And before some idiot says it, yes people do grow tomatoes/peppers indoors with big ass 600w lights. youtube it.

Cheers folks
I think by and by the general idea is:

1: Get one thats discreet in packaging and stick to it
2: Pick up before the neighbors see
3: Pay using paypal
4: If they dont grow , they dont know!
5: Stop posting paranoid questions when blazed, count to 10, and chill ;)

cheers lads, Its been an interesting read, I will +rep you all

I have grown some great tomatoes and peppers inside using my AN MARIJUANA nutrients :-P

I still shop online, at my local hydro store, and at the local horticulture and farm supply. I have frequented all for about six years now and never had an issue, I think it would be more risky buying zig zags at the corner store; I don't really see many tobacco rollers anymore!
