How safe is ordering seeds?

The most risky part of the operation seems to be in the aquisition of the seeds. Following basic rules like keeping the grow fairly small and most importantly secret I'm not really concerned. I finally got my own apartment, albeit a small one room efficency. Thankfully I live alone so the only one who I have to worry about is myself. Now, I don't know many people yet, I just moved a few weeks ago. I sure don't know anyone I would be comfortable with knowing that I plan on starting a special garden. How can I get some good genetics without being red flagged? How risky would it be to have them sent to my apartment? Once I get the seeds I should be set for good, hopefully pollentate enough buds to get some reserve seeds for the next go around. On a side note, I had some black mold growing on my wall. I called maintenance and had them come take care of it. They asked my permission to enter my apartment which I obviously gave them. In the future will they have to notify me when they plan to come in?

If they asked you permission, odds are they will ask it again.

Ordering seeds is safe anywhere in the world except the USA. Even then, it's relatively safe. If they get confiscated (I doubt they will), all that happens is they get returned and you get a letter.

If anyone can recommend anywhere... I checked up the Nirvana site and they had reviews from like 03'. Is that place even in business anymore.. (also heard they don't deal with the states) Then I heard some shit about WWMS.. where do us unfortunate beings in the states get some damn reliable seeds. I'm not sending any money to some shit hole like getseeds.nl.....and im outta seeeeeeeeeeds!!! got lucky I even found some in the bag shit I had. We have high quality chronic where I am at and I come across a seed in a bag like once every 6 months...

Yea, its awkward right now. I'm sleeping on the floor until I can get the rest of my shit up here, haha. I don't know if I can go until harvest without weed in the meantime though, haha. Well it'll all be worth it in the end. Just gotta save up to get my equipment and some seeds.

it's not easy. if you are going to be limited in resources it can be tough. if you do it right you'll love it tho. Think about the weed you'll have coming your way. It sucks that it has to be risky - don't think i'll ever understand why it's not legal. it's not like laws have been very effective anyways

Even in the midst of this TRILLION dollar (so far...) war on drugs they STILL can't manage to keep drugs out of maximum security prisions, what makes anyone think they can stop it on the streets? The results will blow your mind, 65% of participants were willing to give lethal shocks to a victim when instructed by an authority figure to do so. 200 years of evolution has changed nothing about human nature. We've all seen the police posing for pictures holding up their crop seizures like hunting trophies grinning from ear to ear. Those SAME people were turning firehoses on black marchers less than 50 years ago, letting their "cool" police dogs loose on innocents. Those officers holding a .45 pistol to someone's forehead, yelling, screaming, get to play God with our tax dollars. They are praised and rewarded for their efforts in this "dangerous" war on drugs. The money that YOU pay to the government is being used to find, arrest, and incarcerate you for planting a seed, a seed...

Be very cautious my friends, very cautious indeed. All the beauty and enjoyment this plant has brought will still be fought by evil men and the hordes of people willing to obey their commands. Will you obey or resist? Judging by the high caliber of people on this site I'm hoping for the latter, haha. interesting post and i, of course, agree with the gist. i do have one minor quibble - i think you meant 2 million years of evolution rather than 2 hundred (for homo erectus anyway) and there has been quite a bit of progress(?) in that time...

hell - 200 years ago, you could grow hemp with Thomas Jefferson and George Washington and smoke hash with Ben Franklin. Times do change...

That was in the santa hat so the package was undercover!:)

well i have bought seeds from 2 different companies in the past 3 months ..the first lot of seeds i ordered from wwms(world wide marj seeds) they arrived safely and as described the only thing was i had to go in to mail centre and sign for them(i was nervous) but no problems ..they were packaged discreetly..(but took a while to arrive..it was xmas) and the second lot i got from nirvana..they arrived faster and arrived (discreetly packaged) to my home letter box(no signing required)..for my 2 cents i wld go with nirvana
