How should i go about topping or Fim in the right way?

hey everyone i got a question, im currently growing a plant its an indica also pretty happy right now i just found out shes a female cant be more excited!!! shes about 9-10 weeks from seed, and i wanted to know how to go about topping her or when is a good time too, thanks again for any advice

Are you sure about the 8-9 weeks from seed? I veg my seedlings and clones for 9 weeks tops and they are 2 feet tall and sometimes almost as wide. To me those pics look like a 3 week plant.

Looking at those pics I would say wait before you top, you need more growth and nodes.

Here is how to top. Just use your thumb and index finger and pinch section out, no need for scissors unless you fim.

If you were to fim you would want to cut at about where the number 1 is pointing.

thank you rancho this helps out alot, and yes im sure its 9 weeks old also im not growing indoor im currently growing outside at the moment which the weather hasnt been all that great. but still i love her shes getting more healthy!!

Just don't do it to all your plants. Try it with one to see if you like it. Definitely grow one plant as naturally as possible to see what your working with and to compare to others.

Looks green and healthy,but are you sure it is female? Usually they dont show until a bit larger.

Someting is wrong bro if that lil gal is 9 weeks old. I have some 10 week old plants that are being grown 12/12 from seed and the are 40" tall.

yea i am sure it is a female i see the preflowers on her,

and yes she is 9 weeks from seed, you grew yours from 12/12 from seed and its 40 inch tall i didnt do that but we BOTH have diffirent growing techniques and such,
