What kind of feeling should there be when I put my hand above my pots just planted them. always been curious about how much wind u should have in general but have done okay. should there be just a little air movement on the back of my hand or should it hit my hand harder? I've found licking my finger and testing it that way has worked well

Like anything, start out low and work your way up. You ideally want the most airflow with the most plant movement you can get to promote stem strength, without causing "wind burn" on the leaves, which is where the plant transpires more water than it can draw up, causing the leaves to prematurely dry out. Starting on a low setting and increasing the fan speed over a week or two period should acclimate them to the stronger air currents. Higher humidity and/or cooler temps can help to stop "wind burn", both decrease the amount of water loss through the leaves..
