How the hell do people get .5 per watt?

even with a 250w 2x2 grow, lets say u got 9 sog , and u get say 10g off each one. Thats only 90grams which isnt even .5 per watt. I am referring to soil grows.

9 sog under 250 is normal right?, then how does someone get .5 per watt? seems like even at efficient levels u would only be getting around 90g total with 9 sog under 250w.

dont tell me people are referring to trimmed wet weed and not dried?
