Step (5) Cut a hole for the water pump power cord to go out of. You may want to seal it up to make sure no water leaks out.

That is perfect thanks bro. Hey Im using that to clone and I want to clone at least 20 at a time, so I have to make like 20 holes. So how do I go about doin the cloning part can you elaborate more on cloning? I have rooter plugs do I just make holes to fit that then put them in? Then I seen someone with some type of foam or something, they put the clone stem in it then the stem hangs from the bottom and they let it sit in water with the water filter on for aero. Hey can I use a air pump instead of the water pump? Water pump cost $15 air pump $5.
Thanks man Im real excited to do it this way.

Is not a problem .

OK first off you cant just make holes for the rooter plugs they will fall throw , The foam is called neoprene plugs . AN you can use the ether the neoprene plugs or net pots . An if you want an Aeroponic tote you must use a water pump .

On cloning I use 3" wide net pots and just put the steam throw the bottom of the net pot and use 1/4 - 1/2 nutrients and put grow rocks in the pot . If you do this it will have to stay in the net pot you start in tell harvest .
You can use the rooter plugs they work great just cut it in 1/2 put the steam throw the bottom of the rooter plug just a little then put it in the net pot an add grow rocks in the net pot .

I have not tryed the neoprene plugs ,but they will work if thats what you want to use.

What size of net post or neoprene plugs are you going to use ?

I got some in flower now 4 1/2 weeks in Rockwool I forget size but pretty big, but when I cloned them they started in rooter plugs then put in RW. But then I started to clone in small RW then it went down hill from there so I just purchased some more rooter plugs so Im gonna try that. Im nervous man I was supoose to do it yesterday but I got stressed out thinking what im doing wrong I really got to get them going, I was just doing some research on cloning and I did everything right. But I just dont know how to maintain them during the 14 days:( Any advice would help Thanks

OK let me see if I got this right it is taking you 14 day to root your clones , Are you using any cloning gel or any thing like that ?
Also if you build the aero tote it will only take about 1 week to root , I found that the longer it takes to root the more likely to die or fuck up .

I do not use any gel or any thing like that in my aero tote to root my clones just 1/4 - 1/2 nutrients .

If you build the aero tote and use that neoprene plugs to root the clones what are you going to grow them in when they root?

I do not think that putting them in rock cubs after the root is a good idea if you use the neoprene plugs to root the clones .

Also what kind of hydro system are you using ?

Also if you only want to do one tote try and find a good tote that is bigger than I have . You can also grow your plants in them .

What kind of space do you have and what and how many lights do you have ?
