how to do 1000w?

basically looking for some general advice.

the basic idea is a foaf is letting me setup a small spot. i got enough equip to do some very basic growing.

the area is 5x5 with a very low ceiling mayby 3-4ft at the moment. the ground is dirt and diggable.

i got a 1000w hood fan filter, basic ventilation in and out. thinking 8 plants? big and bushy scrog style with about 3weeks veg.

drip irrigation will be shared between our 2 grows and just water plain water, so i was thinking an organic(composted) soil and feed once a week.

never done a bigger grow with few plants soooooo just looking for some tips thinking about adding 120W LED with the 1000w just a supplemental if i need it.

You can add one if you like but the 5x5 should get covered nice with a 1000 watt bulb. If you see a spot that's lacking light then add it in there but those ceilings are low so keep heat and other factors in mind. More lights will equal more heat.
