How to dry properly

Hi,

I’ve just about to crop ...
I’m thinking of hanging in a 90x90 tent.

Will 7 days be enough?
And do I need in and out fans and oscillating fans?

any advise?

Hang in the open in a room in your house that gets good air exchange like open door window or just peeps walking in and out during the day.

Hang for a week notice it smokes well in a joint but taste isnt great yet - hang for two now taste is there and you have a finished product ready to smoke sell giveaway or jar.

We simply hang till bud moisture reaches low enough level to smoke and like with anything it simply needs to hang dry where moisture can freely leave the bud and disperse into the wider atmosphere.

You need to look at your natural environment unless you are drying in a controlled room.

Here in Colorado I only hang for 3-4 days then start burping them. Our rH here is low. When I lived in Cali, I would hang two weeks.

Once your nugs loose their moisture, you can’t put it back

I dry in hot dry conditions every summer here.... Bud equalizes and will be a couple percent drier in such conditions, i dont have to jar in moisture so why do you....!

I must be missing something...I use my jar to just store my weed.... that’s all... and I’ve found just like with the plant... is ready when it’s ready.. this weed will be dry when it drys...DEPENDS where I dry it... mainnnnn in 2 weeks this shits ON GONE!!!

What's your Brix level and fatty acid profile? What's the microbial demographics look like?


You don't know? Then how are we supposed to help you? You didn't even mention what strain. I guess it's all the same to internet growers huh? If every strain cures the same then you grow with chems. When you grow with chems and think "toothpaste" is a weed flavor, it really doesn't matter what you do, your smoking chem weed either way.
