how to figure out how much is 1/4 strenght

ok my vegging nutes says 1 tablespoon to a gallon of water is full strenght, ok how do you figure out what a 1/4 strenght is, 1 table spoon = 3 teaspoons, so a teaspoon and a half is half strenght, so 1 teaspoon would be a 1/3 correct, so how do figure it out, I looked in a cooking book, that where I got 3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon, is there a chart that breaks it down simpler and need to know how much is 1/4 strenght is, got seedlings do not want to burn them by giving them to much, they are finally big enough to start giving them some nitrogen, do not want to over due it.

How about you make full strength mixture then dilute it?

Make one gallon of regular stuff then pour 1/4 of it into another gallon container and fill with plain water. Blammo. 1/4 strength.

3/4 tsp would be 1/4 strength

Any all purpose plant food will work just fine. look for a 20-20-20 or a 20-30-20.

i'm having a hard time believing recommended dosages right now. my plants are running at an extremely high ppm/ph and are thriving.

1 tablespoon = 15 milliliters roughly
1 teaspoon = 5 mL roughly

I suggest using one of these if you are trying to make small careful measurements. They are oral syringes for giving children and infants medicine. Sometimes your local pharmacist will give them to you for free. Or you can get them at the dollar store.

right on, i have those , they re easiest to measure !

Read the inside tab of the box. It says 1 TEAspoon per gallon for indoor potted plants. This is a label problem that has given MG a bad name and baffles me why they haven't fixed it. Ironic that people figured out to use 1/3rd of a tablespoon without reading the inside instructions and it just happens 1/3rd of a tablespoon is 1 teaspoon. And the small end of the measuring spoon is half a teaspoon.
