How to get 3 or 4 large colas per plant

O.K. So I have read about the sea of green method. But let's say you want to get 3 or 4 large colas per plant. None of those small ones at the bottom. How do you achieve that goal? Do you just trim all of the small branches at the bottom and keep the top ones?

you have the general idea. There was a killer thread on the old OG/CW that detailed this..I'll try to relay it best I can here...

Basically you prune to get the branching/# of tops you want...then you go down to the bottom of the plant and strip all of the SHOOTS off of each stem....LEAVING the leaves....until you get to about the top 3-4 shoots..depending in the internode spacing. (leave more if she's really tightly spaced.)

Keep doing this through out the bloom cycle. She'll keep trying to force out new shoots..keep takin em off. This will force all of the energy to the tops. (yer grany did this to her tomatoes to get big maters and fewer small ones if you remember)

She'll look like shit at first...and I'm sure you'll be going "OK..who was that fucker who told me this?" (LOL) for a bit....but believe me...if you want big buds..this will certainly help you reach that goal.
