Personally I think a wet trim makes a cleaner looking final product, not sure about other stuff, I can’t tell... weed... but whatever. I’m stuck on dripping thc now...
Re reading, not even sure the question now. Don’t get all crazy with cajun bobs Tupperware heating pads or some water curing. Just dry that shit in the proper environment.

What I like to do is hang mine. Let all the THC drip to the ground, then scrape the ground. Pure thc drip hash. (I joke.)

I was being facetious. Yes that is a complete myth. I hang all my flowers and they all still contain their THC after the hanging drying and curing process. Good weed has bag appeal. Grow good weed.
(Notice there are ZERO THC drippings on the floor...lol)

I agree with the guy that said a wet trim gets the best bag appeal. It's just easier to get in and do a super thorough trim. Not sure if it helps/harms/matters on the smell front.
I just defan and hang, then jar. Pretty minimal trim, I like the buds wrapped in a layer of sugar leaves. Sort of depends on personal or customer preference.

You can wet trim and hold by the stems. Need to hang in room 60-70 temp 55-65 humidty and keep in dark to dry out

If you hang your plants upright, all the resin runs down and soaks into the roots. I smoke my roots and sell the depleted buds to the unsuspecting!!!

I remove the large fan leaves and leave the sugar leaves on and hang to dry about 7-10 days I store in large containers in a humidity controlled room... 55-60.... I trimm off all the sugar leaves on my orders the day of ....those freshly broken trichomes release lovely smells and everyone comments on how stanky my bud is......my zips come in mason jars and most of my clients give them back to be reused...that is how I get jar appeal.....folks like busting ballz dont take it personal we all have asked questions before we should have done a little research
