how to hang lights without drilling into studs?

Just bought some new led lights but have to use 4 ratchets at 4x4. My setup right now is a 2x4 drilled into a stud through drywall but that's not going to work. The light is about 40 lbs. Will 4 toggle bolts be sufficient to hold it?

you can build a frame or just buy a 4x4 cheap tent and just use that frame

I wouldn't recommend using a tent frame without the tent skin, they are flimsy without the skin on.

Whats wrong with just finding the ceiling joists?
If you've already drilled into the stud walls then what's a few more holes in the ceiling?

If that's out the question then you can buy frames for lights or just build a wood frame out of 2x4s
