how to lower humidity?

What up, i just checked the humidity in my room and its at 73%. i would like it somewhere near 60% or lower. how can i achieve this? any ideas?:leaf:

got to have fans running constantly. use an exaust fan constanly also. try not to have any open water from where your intake air is coming. turn off the intake air for a few minutes to let the exaust fan vacuum out the room.

Expensive!! also try turning off all the fans even the exaust, let the room heat up and dry out by the light, then turn on the exaust, and vacuum out the room with no incoming air untill humidity lowers. some days i have to do this several times, try not to let the temp get above 85 in veg, and 77 in flower

Yeah but they work great, especially hooked up to a controller. Worth every penny to keep my girls happy. (I dont vent my room as I inject a lot of CO2 and like my room to be sealed, I do vent all my lights though.)

yo thanks for all the responses, much appreciated! i due have very good ventilation, plus a good sized fan to move all the air around. recently my humidity actual went down but is very inconsistant. it will jump from the high 40's to low 70's which could cause stress. i dont know how i can keep it constant, or should i keep it constant?

I got a really nice dehumidifier for less than two hundred bucks and they offer free shipping on some models. I bought their 45 pint model. I live in florida and the humidity is ungodly. It's like ninety five percent as of this writing. My room stays around fifty five percent when it's this humid outside. I also keep the dehumidifier set at fifty five percent. As the flowering process progresses I will slowly lower it to forty five percent. You can set the dehumidifier for anywhere between forty percent and eighty percent.

Guess it depends on your setup and situation. For me i can keep my humidity low when lights are on by having the door to the room open. Lights off is when it gets high for me. My fix for this is only to water right when the lights come on so by the time they go off the top layer of soil has already lost most of its moisture. Of course only works if you using soil and can open your room when lights are on :)
