How to make a large quantity of organic "super soil" for 100 gal pots

Hello, I'm a semi experienced outdoor grower here in Nor Cal and after this years crop, planning for next year I'd like to learn how to make a super soil for 20- 100 gal pots. I've come across countless recipes for very small batches but after the arm and a leg I spent this year on pallets I know there has to be a better way. Can someone point me in the right direction? Will my local feeds potting soil and compost do instead of black gold? Thanks for any help in advance.

You can amend whatever base you want to make a super charged, supersoil kind of product. As far as I know, subcool is hip on roots as base, at least that's what I went with first time based on reading this forum. It is kind of expensive though. I opted for cheaper EKO brand mixing one part compost to 2 parts potting mix plus some perlite/lava rock for extra aeration, and am having the same results. Next time I'll probably try an even simpler base mix like in some of the recycled organic living soil thread.

One other thought, you might consider inspecting the local stuff closely for any infestations like gnats or thrips and treat accordingly from the get go.
