how to prevent bugs from eating plants

  1. hey every year i grow some outdoor herb and every year bugs get to my plants how can i prevent the bugs from eating plants? im in socal if anyone knows anything about local bugs (ie) white flys, spider mites ect... i also having a problem with white mold any suggestions?

neem oil or any kind of insecticide organic or otherwise. as for the white mold you will need a fungicide for that... a lil common sense and initiative go a long way buddy!

garlic spray. boil about 2 tsp of garic powder in about 1 cup of water 5-10 min. strain into bowl through well rinsed washrag or t shirt type material. mix this concentrate 50-50 with plain water. place this in windex sized sprayer. lightly mist plants. try to get under leaves as well, some critters like to hide there. good luck
