How to raise the PH, Please help

My plants have slowly started to look sickly so i went out and bought a ph meter to test my soil. The plants that look the worst have a Ph of 5.5 which i know is way to low. the other plants are about 6-6.5 Ive read about ways to raise the Ph by mixing in sulfer or lime but is there a way to do this without having to mess with the soil? Is there something i could add to the water, i also tested the water at 6. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Really? i can add this to the water? and they are in 5 gallon buckets so how much do you think i should add each time i water them?

id just buy a water ph kit i got mine on amazon for $14 bucks and its worth every penny, i had similar issues like you before i had a ph kit buut after i got the ph kit my problems stopped and i wouldnt go about using house hold products better be safe then sorry remember your gunna be smokin it later down the road Lol

I just use ph up or ph down. I dont do soil anymore as its too much work and time hydro much easier and faster but yeah I always used ph 7 water and then check the ph coming out that its in the 6.8 range. Mix the ph up in your water to ph 7 then flush pots full on deluge then catch run off and see what your getting. Id also get a simple soil ph device like at walmart usually like $5-$10

I do have a meter, i also got some nutrient tests and they are turned out fine, so it must just be the fact that they are to acidic to absorb the nutrients right.

Oh Fuck yeah man thanks for the link ill order that now, so i just add this to the water to raise it to a 7 before i water the plants and then they should just slowly start getting better?

well no 1st what i do is i use tap water i put the water in the bottle/bucket i use then i use the test indicator drops that comes with the kit it says to use 3-4 drops but i normaly do 3 drops then i stir it my water is around 7.6-8.0 after i know what my tap water ph is at, then i use PH down to lower it so i add around 3-4 drops then i test that water to make sure its around 6.2-6.5 its kinda tricky getting it to be around 6.4-6.2 but you will get the hang of it

but yea best thing i bought for my grow knowing and controling your PH is a big thing in my book on growing medical weed Good luck bro!

yes,i admit baking soda is just a temporary replacemant for ph up
it works great though(for 4 waterings tops) :D

Right i hear ya man but i dont think this guy should go about using bakin soda him not knowing the right amount and such can fuck up his plant in the long run like i said better be safe then sorry and jus buy a ph kit it makes up for it in the end..which im glad he is buying one! :)

Yeah man that looks like the way to go, also if i posted a few pics could you help me point out what deficiency they have? im color blind and it makes it pretty difficult.

yea sure man posting pics on any weed issue helps out SOO much it helps out more then just talking about it Lol but like i said having your ph too high or it being off could cause look a like deficiencys but really its just your ph being outta wack lol then again im not too sure till i see pics..

yeah dude your plants look amazing lol i have Blackjack Ak-47 and Blue mammoth all are female and autoflowering and they are about 3 weeks old
