Just take the buds on the very ends and tops of branches and the main cola. Leave the little buds down the branches intact and amp up the lights. With the main ends topped off, and the lights turned up the plant will start new branches right away. Now is the time to start tyeing branches down to promote more side growths, multiplying the number of tops you'll get the next harvest.

also if it is in soil, repot in new dirt. you may lose some root mass, but after the shock it will bush out like crazy.
