I just started checking my nutrient temp. and its like 82. I think it is from my air stone that is in the grow room.I think that the air pump is just pumping hot air from my room through the nutes.I think if I move the air pump into a cooler place it will drop the temp. normally my room is like 80 but because of the summer heat it is like 80 to 85.
if anyone has a cheap but reliable way to to keep my temp down I would love to here it thanks

ya that was what I was afraid of. can you tell me how you copy someones quotes in your reply?

Rubbermaids,

You can try and insulate them but it's a waste of time, not too mention $$$$

you can use more airline and try and pump cooler air in but that may not work unless you are moving a
whole helluva lot of cool air to keep up with that room temp.

I spent more trying to cool the rubbermaids Than I did on 8 Igloos.

I styrofoam insulated my 75 gallon grow tubs, added a chiller to one and just the 110 liter per minute pump to the other.
My Veg lab runs from a high of 86f to a low of 75f. The teen's res never goes over 68f water temp just with that monster air pump and maybe a frozen liter bottle once a week. The res with the chiller? 72f and I add warm water to keep it from going lower once a week.

The Igloos?
56 bucks with a foam lid you make at home.

Cools Waters,
No light.
