how would u utilize my new setup to its full potential? (flower, veg, clones etc)

I ordered a bunch of new junk from htg to complete my scale down from nearly 2K watts to under 300w.

Right now this is what i have:

flowering:
150w hps
clip on fan (yay! no more mounting fans on stacks of books lol)
mylar surrounding the 2x2 space (height not an issue)

veg:
1 2ft 4bulb t5 system (4 6500K bulbs) which is just under 100watts
1 clone tray and cover w/ rockwool cubes

im probably gonna need to use the 2ft 4bulb for vegging and maybe get some cfls for my clone box (or id assume that would be better than attempting to veg plants and keep clones under the same 2ft t5.


how should i use this equipment to my BEST advantage? im talking about maximizing yield/harvest overall

and how many 23w cfls (1600 lumens each) would i need to keep clones in my clone box happy?

im also new to cloning so under this setup what would be the most economical use of clones.

i dont really have a place to sustain mothers and cant run up my electric bill too much more than it already is.

sorry about the downgrade. small spaces my idea is always to throw as many clones as you can in said space. veg 5 days and flip.

veg with the fluorescents but you might want to try vegging for a week or 2 under the hps then flowering to let it get used to the light. The plants would get a little bigger then flower that way unless you are in a hurry. Mine are in soil and I water by hand or leave them in a tray of water with an airstone sometimes for a while. You gotta spend time vegging to grow a healthy plant to take clones from and to get a yield. tie the plant to a stake or something unless it's just a foot or two tall. I might veg for a month or 2 lately to get a nice little healthy plant going. I have six now flowering under a 150 hps and a 400 watt and they can get within a foot of the bulbs- close

well...my idea...(let me know if this should work)

would be to use my veg and flower areas constantly.

i'd like to veg for 6-7 wks under the veg light (assuming my flowering strains take about 8-9wks each) then chop that plant down into as many clones as i can make...then put them in flowering (and start a new seed in veg to take the place of the plant that went from veg to clones to the flower room)

make sense?

im wondering if 6 wks under the veg light is enough (assuming its only 1 plant) to make enough clones to fill in my 2x2 space under my 150w hps.


also...what size pot do you suggest for this?? im torn between 1 gal grow bags and 2L bottles (or similar)

now keep in mind when the plant gets wacked down into clones all id have under the veg light is my clone box with all the clones i made out of the plant?
