You would probably do better culling down to the best 5 or 10. The best plants are always in the 10%.
But that’s just how I grow now. I like to pop 50 and throw 45 away.

Ditto here. 100-120 per run. 12 x 12 room/2K HID. Used 1 gallon milk jugs cutoff for containers cus of the noids and I could find em in the trash....LOL. Yup...gonna be a forest......
i always use small pots for seedlings and i will lift it up to see how light it is when i water. after awhile you can just pick them up and tell. also a good way to tell is to feel the bottom leavces of the plant. as soon as they slightly begin to dry liek barely you will fell the difference int the top of the plant. plants suck up water from the bottom leaves when they run out of water. so if youre seeing yellowing on your bottom youre underwatering. they dont need that much water at first bro just feel the leaves they will tell u at any size. if youre grow area is hot and dry it will suck water outof them. i prefer 55 % for my seedlings in RH. also you can mist them of in between watering to give them water but still allow the roots to properly dry. hope this helps maybe also its ur pots? i know those thick ass plastic ones take waaaay longer to dry and even after a few days the tops dry but the bottom isnt. SOIL SELECTION AND CONTAINER SELECTION IS KEY. GET YOU SOME plastic grow bags. fuck air pots bro because indoors and out aftwe yiu water the fabric soaks up water and their will be a pool of water at the bottom of the pot and it will never dry properly thus making overwatering super easy. you have to move them from spot to spot to dry or put a towel underneat them. grow bags bro... grow bags..
i think they make half gallon ones ur better off throwing clones into 1 gallon bags. seen a guy grow 9 clones 1 gallon bags 25 days veg 56 days flower got 1.3 pounds off SOG. good luck mafk. BTW soil ph shouldnt be a problem until mid flower if that WITH GOOD SOIL. get a soil with a ph set to neutral 7.0 like ffof, roots organics 707 etc. i havent hada problem with ph in veg in 10 years lol and iused miracle grow when i first dtarted. or add u some dolomite lime to ur soil if you dont have money for good soils
I did all except the small pots dolomite spent on soil what i did wrong was a bad ph test over fertile medium over done lifting ph way high . So after the test an i did it wrong i thought ph perfect an went forwards then planted seeds shallow an had lights high 100 % 330 watt light so the watering i think was ok but the soil ph was 9 ish lol . i agree organic is the way to go im not 100% organic this grow cause im using fox farm happy frog now ffof sorry never used the ffof. but all my nutes are organic and really the chemmy nutes in the happy frog get mostly used up during veg. you are what you eat same with plants. roots organics line and normally their 707 soil is what i use its fully organic but you still gotta lay off the nutes last two weeks and the nitrogen last four weeks and dont water last three days
before chop to freak the plant out a little to make more crystals. as far as the two days of darkness also idk i think it does help but idk for sure. but what i can tell you man is that light degrades thc with the heat from the lights after it reaches max potency and is ready light will diminish it and the bud will continue to over ripen like a watermelon for example and the darkness stops that because no light lol. ppl say also the darkness freaks the plant out idk about that bro but the 3 days of no watering does help for sure but ppl will argue with me prolly but ive been growing for over 10 years. 
but ya i start my plants in solo cups for first 7 days or so if that to avoid overwatering and underwatering as those cups dry out fast and its enough root room to keep them happy until the 2nd or 3rd node then transplant to a 1 gallon or 1/2 gallon grow bag let them grow a few more nodes and transplant and tie them up fuck topping takes a whole week off but it is worth it some strains are slow af some doesnt even fase them but too early and it just slows them down off their vigor bro. i LST them asap and tie them to each tent pole in my 4x4 4 plants and dont top til day 21-28 if that but i mostly dont unless its for height reasons. lst makes a even canopy and never slows them down. and i veg for a good 4-5 weeks max in 3 or 5 gallon pots depending on strains cuz u only want pure or close to pure indicas in 5 gallons hybrids or sativas haha you will have a jungle or atleast i would. i prefer hybrids in 3 gallons inside in my tent. and their a good 1-2 foot tall by the 4-5 weeks veg on 24/0 if not bigger with hybrids and thats tied up. i feed at day 28 1/4 strength roots organics line 
the leaves should tell you when shes done when they yellow up like its fall time outside thats how u get the real clean stuff with that white ash bro gandalf white and the smoke is as smooth as water. i also water with cold water the last week with a lil coconut water per gallon to imitate fall screw chemmy nutes like fox farm their soil isnt bad but i prefer the RO 707 soil but im broke atm lol. my grow room smells like candy with this black hole breath i got id show u picsof some bud ive grown this way gotta upload some old pics. im dabbed out hope the info helps fuck paying some asshole legal or not for bud especially nowadays.
