How you go about slow dropping temps during flowering?

HI guys! Total newbie here on my first grow, 2.5 weeks into flower! 3/5 turned out male unfortunately but that's okay because I've been waiting on better alibaba lights so my current Kingbrite 240W is probably best for just 2 plants in a 4x2. Anyway, I've heard of many people who have had success doing this as it very much imitates the natural environment. (Hotter during veg months and cooler in flowering, further cooling down as fall/winter approaches. For example someone's regimen is something like this:
week 1-6 86 degrees w CO2 78 degrees w/o CO2
night- 78 degree or 70 degrees

week 7- 78 degrees w/CO2 75 degrees w/o CO2
night- 66-68 degrees

week 8- 73 degrees w/CO2(half level CO2) 70 degrees w/o CO2
night- 60 degrees

week 9- 70 degrees no CO2
night- 55 degrees

Now I can understand how to drop the temp in the nighttime(cracking a window and letting in some cold air right by the tent) or running an ac unit. But how do they go about lowering the daytime temps? Running the exhaust much more frequently? Except my ambient basement winter temperature is 70F during the day in winter right now, I couldn't see myself getting much lower temps by running the exhaust. So how do some do it?! Thanks for any help guys !

With or without co2 my temps are 83 when using leds. Nighttime they stay 73 start to finish. I don’t understand why I’ve seen little difference. Keep your temps stable start to finish.

Air conditioner, or thermostat on fan. But when I grew in tents I just kept a stable temp the whole run.

I actually always kept my exhaust fan on, if I needed it to be a bit warmer I'd use a speed controller but I like the constant air flow it helps prevent other problems like mold.

I use inkbird and ac infinity controllers...one to cool by intake of filtered outside air, another to constantly exchange....All my plants are vegged in a separate area where temp/humidity are constant...but when moved to a flower area, even though inside a heated area, they are then at the mercy of ambient outside temps and humidity as it's used to cool....of course, in winter, intake runs very little allowing the exhaust to control everything through filtered 'inside' air exchange. Seem to work, been doing it a long time...
