I just got two 150 watt hps bulbs and am going to get two 150 watt mh bulbs. Is this a good setup or not? What all do I need to get these going? It looks like standard bulb sockets, but I know that I need a ballast. so what all do I need to get rolling with this setup. is there a place to get a diagram on how to wire up what I need. any help would be cool, I dont want to waste time and money.

They won't fit in a regular socket. They go into a Mogul socket. You need a ballast. They make MH and HPS ballasts, but you can run a MH with a HPS ballast, just not the other way around. You're better off buying a light kit that comes with a ballast and reflector pre-wired with a socket. You want the MH bulbs for veg and HPS for flowering.
