Gonna need a cool tube at least.....I've got a 3x3 with a 400w hps cooltube, 4" vortex sucking air through it ....I keep another 4" vortex blowing into the tent at the same rate the exhaust is running....usually 25-40% on.....itake is ducted to blow onto the outside of the cooltube.....I can pull down to 72-73 if I wish but usually try to keep it at 79-80.....proper use of fans for intake and exhaust is a must for an enclosed space. Good luck.........

Difficult to say but my Son-t Pia plus gives off next to no heat- i kind of wished it would as my temps are freezing outside. To give you an idea its -3 outside and on top of my HPS ive had to add a small heater to my tent ( which sits in garage) in order to get the temp above 12 degrees C. I had the opposing problem last time with a cheaper HPS. SO perhaps by going for an expensive bulb that has lower heat radiation such as the one im using, it may possibly save you from having to buy additional stuff to combat heat problems. Just an idea from my own personal experience but other factors like the effectiveness of your inlet and exhaust fans may alter your temps anyway?
