Yes, but they have a blue tint so not that great outdoors. But the blue works great with the yellow of the HPS so u can see any deficiencies just like under the sun. They are a great grow room tool.OK, those are cool. Can you use them for regular sunglasses too?
Agreed! My ability to read small print has dropped off a lot since I started growing.Sweet I gota get me some shades for my grow room, the light intensity is my main reason but that's pretty cool
I have the Lumi glasses.... Works fine, just not as stylish as the 7's.Personally I wholeheartedly believe that $150 for a pair of grow room glasses is a steal considering how much your eyes will thank you years down the road. However I understand that not everyone has $150 burning a hole in their pocket so Lumii also makes a more affordable pair of blue tinted HPS glasses that'll run you about $20
The company advertises that the glasses will reduce the lines HPS lights create. I use an electronic ballast which uses a square wave bulb ignition pattern as opposed to most electronic ballasts which use a sine wave pattern. This just means the bulb flickers less and the camera lens may not pick up on it. I have no issue with the horizontal lines when photographing without using the Method Seven glasses as well.Yes, but they have a blue tint so not that great outdoors. ZombieXWeed. How did you take those HPS shots without getting the lines? I use my Method 7s over my phone to take pix of my grow and still occasionally get lines. BTW, that's an amazing tent grow!
The hps glasses get rid of the color that makes every thing look weiord, especially in pictures. welding glasses don't do that and are pretty dark.Wont a pair of shade 3 - 5 glasses for welding/ sauntering work the same? LOL I have thousands of those, and IMO they work better. After all the arc in the light bulbs are the same type of arc you have when your welding. The difference is you're not adding or melting any metal.

Can you post a source. I am seeing $40+ on Amazon. My Lumi glasses were $15 and they can be had for even cheaper now. The best part is taking pictures through them.
