HPS lost its red spectrum?

Hey guy, so I woke up this morning and my usually very orange looking hps looks like a mh. Im picking up a new bulb today but id like to know if anyone has experianced this problem with the ipower 600w super hps, the bulb has only been running for about 1800 hours total.
 
you mean like the color it is when they first ignite and are warming up?

sounds like the arc tube is messed up

do you have an old bulb to throw in there to make sure its not a ballast problem?
 
Its been so long ...? lol

I think mine went black or was that a Mh ...lol

I change mine every year

and now have a box full

just to prevent this ...lol
