HPS/ MH spectrum change by +10% overdrive from dig. ballast

Hello everyone,

does anyone know what the spectrum change of HID lamps is when run under overdrive mode, esp. in relation to PAR? And is the light generally shifting more towards having a smaller amplitude in terms of the EM band frequency or is it perhaps lamp-specific?

What do u mean like running at wit more power because I had a 600 watter that did like 660 idk

Yes exactly 600w --> 660w or 150 --> 175w

Thats a great question. I still use a digital 600 hps. Before I do any research, I'm guessing we shift to blue as we increase power if there is any shift at all.
