Hps otw how much will effect light bill

Depends on your area but, my guess would be about 40 bucks a month. Then add in your fans etc..
 
WOW!!! It only costs me 11.92 a month to run a 400w hps @ 12 hours a day here in the midwestern us. I'm glad I don't live wherever you guys live. sheesh!!!
 
I run a 600 and my bill is a hundred a month. That also includes fans. So my 2 rooms run me 200 a month. Well worth it at the end of each harvest.
 
I run a 1000W HPS, a 400W HPS, a fan and 4 100W flourescants. I figure they upped my
electric bill about $80 a month.

Get the electric bill that comes in the mail and find out how much the a kw per hour costs you (the tariff)

Mine is $0.21. I have a 400w light and 32w + 20w fans. 400w+ what my ballast uses
would probably be about 460w + the fans would be 512w
