HTG supply cord set

Im sure plenty alot of you guys out there have these HTG supply hps light kits. I want to get an air coolable reflector but the ones they sell are a bit expensive. Whats strange about the HTG lights is the the ballast is permanently attached to the socket assembly. My question is if anyone knows if the HTG socket/cordset will fit other none HTG hoods... im thinking about this one http://www.rsghydro.com/Xtrasun-White-Reflector-Air-Coolable-p/4171.htm

I couldn't tell you for sure that it will fit that hood but I use a HTG supply 400w HPS light and I mounted their socket in a "Supernova" hood with no modificaitions necessary. I think their mounting screws are pretty universal and should fit a lot of hoods available.

It should fit. Sockets, whether they be a medium or mogul base, are standardized.
