humidifier and dehumidifier

My experience has been that it is more effective two control the rh in the outer room, not in the tent. With all the exhaust air isn't in the tent long enough to work.

I run a small veg cab in the same room as my flower tent. I have a mini humidifier inside the cab but not a ton of exhaust (inline fan attached to a carbon filter). In the larger room, I use a dehumidifier. RH in the tent is about 55, down at around 35-40 in the room and the same in the tent. if you run lights with heat, they will knock down the humidity. But I run LED so it doesn't.

I live in CO and never adjust humidity.... in the winter it's typically 25-35%RH. what humidity levels are you running at that makes you think you need a de-humidifier?

I'm running co2 in my 5x5 and I found I need a dehumidifier even here in CO because the plants are putting out so much moisture, they were keeping it above 80%. I'm not running my main vent fan until the temp gets too hot (usually from the dehumidifier) to keep the co2 in.
