Humidifier

Hello y'all,
Where I am right now, I have a self built closet (out of wood) which fits for a max of two plants, and now since it is winter the humidity levels are around 30-40%. Is it recommended that I install a small humidifier? Can anyone recommend me a small good one which would fit inside? And would the humidifier ruin the closet like results in mold and what not?

I appreciate any input or shared experience.

Be sure you have an accurate hygrometer in there to keep track of it-you might be able to get away with just putting a bucket of water in there, and see how much that raises it. I would try a low tech option before putting a humidifier in there. As the plants get bigger and start drinking more you might have the opposite problem.

Love the idea of simply a bucket of water inside. I will try it out.

I've done the bucket of water but also added a suspended towel 1/4 in the water so it wicks up.

Make sure the towel is going up above the bucket and not draped over the edge or it will wick the water onto the floor.

Don't ask me how I know this.
