Humidity

so I have a lack of humidity problem friends. I am in flower currently and want my humidity at 45%. I bought a new humidifier that has stopped working after 1 week. I am running 2 tents, one for my autos and one for my photos until they go outdoor. I have a new humidifier on the way...temporarily I have placed a heating pad inside the tent, placed 2 plastic freezer bags that I've poked small holes into, and filled with water. It brought my humidity from. 30 to 37% ...does anyone have a faster approach? I have a mister going as well the problem is I can't keep the water warm enough to create the effective humidity to support the water bags...as you may or may not know its very important to have the humidity right for the tricomes, not enough and you get a harsh less desirable smoke...again what are some of your ideas? I usually have all the equipment needed so being clever has helped, but as you know tunnel vision follows with too much focus...outside looking in is what i need .

Well, the greenhouse never has a humidity problem. Humidity ABSOLUTELY affects your cannabis, and the way it smokes .I have 2 separate tents running and the one humidifier i have left is being used. Was there an idea you had to offer or did you jump on my post to run your suck and look stupid?

I just figured as a commercial grower you wouldn't be on here asking how to raise humidity. How does humidity in flower affect your dried and cured product?

Buy a new humidifier. Does that help?

Maybe you missed the point twentyeight, there was a lot to read for you there and this conversation is a little harder to grasp than your Dr. Seus books. The problem is creating what I need until the new one gets in. Is that simple enough for you to understand?

The fact that I watch you bully people on this site, then talk as if you have the brains God gave an ant on my page, just shows you should think more before opening that hole in your face. Stick to picking on rookies man, there's no challenge for you there as I've read .

I don't bully, I give straight forward advice. Most people aren't accepting to criticism so they take it as an insult or attack.

That fact that you have vast commercial experience and can't figure out how to raise your humidity shows your true level of experience.

It's not going to ruin your grow to have slightly lower RH for the one day it takes to get a replacement. Then again I wouldn't want your tricomes to get ruined lmao.

A simple search could have gave you an answer without having to create a new thread.

Im still curious for which dispensary you are growing for?

Can't you boil a kettle of water on an electric camping stove in your grow room? Don't know how healthy that's gonna be for your lights but it seems something like that would provide all the humidity you need in a very short timespan.

As someone that grows for a dispensary I would figure that you'd have it figured out. How do you supply enough for them with 2 tents?

Or at least know that RH in flower has no impact on harshness of smoke. Lol. If you want better smoke then dry and cure it properly.
Even drying requires humidity...are you serious?

Couldn't that scold your plants. Never done it but have seen people put rags in bowl of water in front of a fan. Or sponges. No idea how much it will raise it though

I really don't think you understand what I'm doing here. Im a perfectionist. My downfall and my attribute. I have no problem with any constructive criticism, however without a bumidifir

I liked the idea but it won't work for me. I do know about the fans and wet towels I put one over a newly added fan to help the room. Im at 42% now. I appreciate your input

Soak towels and wring them out and hang in tent. Brings my humidity from 35 to 65.

I guess I’m missing how you don’t have extra equipment on hand at any given moment? I kept spare andens on hand, spare humidifiers on hand spare lights and drivers. Do you have any sort of contingency plan for your operation? I ask only because if you are a perfectionist how do you let yourself go with a lack of spare equipment? I love redundancy it keeps me in the green. I get you grow in a greenhouse but if you’ve ever grown and do grow on a commercial scale it would seem like you would have things lined up just in case. Either way hope you figured out an easy way to get it raised.

Yeah I agree. For site. I dont want to mislead as I may have donen here, let me humble myself. I just recently started working for this dispensary, its focus is cbd and thc. I have only ever done outdoor grows , I am not familiar with growing in doors or a green house until a few months ago. I started to my home project to be get my shit together for my future. I go.to college for horticulture and agronomy in the fall and just doing my best. I've clearly mislead to the point that I'm some kind of pro ...no sir..im not. I humbly apologize for that. However...I have a big family and budget so I get what I can you know? I am aiming for perfection is what I should have said....a perfectionist has mastered the art ..im still learning with the rest of you. Have a good day man. Appreciate the feedback

if you want perfection then run a perfect sealed room.setup with co2 ac dehuy/humidifier temp controllers. otherwise perfection will.never be achieved. you think you can keep your room 45%rh all.the time? thats absurd. i think youre wasting time with stupid.details you really dont need. as long as you aren't in extreme values you will do.just fine.
the real question is what are you reading the rh with? a cheap digital meter can be + - 10-15% so you could .actually be 40-45% and trying to add more humidity.
keep it simple.
