Any easy tips on upping humidity in my cab , besides buying a humidifier thing , just a little ghetto way of doing it for now , dnt wana get to technical with this got a humidity tester and seeing my humidity is in like 40% which is a bit low dnt u guys think ?

If you decide to buy a humidifier, please don't buy those cheapo Chinese made USB powered bottle top misters. The amount of mist they put out is a joke. I swear, the pics they use showing the mist are doctored. They also stop soaking up water via the water stem.

Wish I'd read this before buying one. Agreed they are terrible! Mine was one of those that floats on the water...or rather it did float for an hour and then sank and stopped working.

Its not too low. In the winter mine hovers around 25-30%, The only ill effects I see is the need to water a bit more often. Sure its not optimal, but in the long run the overall effects are actually quite neglectable,

I grow in 20% RH from seed to chop. I'd be happy with 30% RH. They'll just use a little more water, I have to water every day some times during rapid growth/flowering in 5 gal fabric pots. So IMO 40% is very close to ideal.

Those $10 misters are just plain junk, all of them (at least for tent growing). Either they put out a useless wimpy mist or they die within a month. I am speaking from experience. If you want a mister that works, and is effective, spend some more money.
Here's a very good table top sized mister for around $40 that I bought. It's made by Plemo. The size is right and it's silent, It can't be put on a exterior timer but I just run it until the water runs out and it shuts itself off. The misting lasts a full day if on the low setting. It also has a little remote for changing speed or turning off and on. Filling it up with water is simple and easy.

i ordered an ultra sonic mister and put it in a mild jug with a pc fan on it. it helps 2 or 3 points, but it runs out of water quickly. im running with it so far. it helps some

Another option is an evap cooler which is similar to the swamp cooler. Depending on the size of your grow space this may help a bit.
