I got no other way to extract more Air unless I buy a second extractor and filter and hook it up70% is fine if in veg. As long as temps are not too low and you have good air exchange/flow. 80% is too high in my opinion. You run the risk of getting powdery mildew. You could extract the air a bit more im your grow room to remove some humidity.
Not sure of humidity but its normally around 14°c outside the tentI wouldn't push it much past 60% ideally.
What's the humidity % outside your grow space?
Temps?
Plenty of extraction, airflow, and air movement?
I'd check it out, because it may well be high outside too. So extraction fans won't do much. Not sure of humidity but its normally around 14°c outside the tent
Okay, thanks mateI'd check it out, because it may well be high outside too. So extraction fans won't do much.
If that's the case, there's not really much you can do, short of getting a small dehumidifier.
You can get a dehumidifier but you'll have to worry about emptying the tank all the time. The added bonus with a second extractor fan is youll have good air exchange!I got no other way to extract more Air unless I buy a second extractor and filter and hook it up
80% is good for seedlings and clones, and to keep spider mites at bay, however it invites fungus and stem and root rot in maturing plants. I try to keep the humidity down to ~65% for vegetation and ~50% for flowering using a combination of ventilation, air conditioning and dehumidification. A lot will depend on the conditions outside your grow room/tent. If the temps are cooler and humidity is lower outside this area, it may be as simple as more/better ventilation. If not, you'll need to go with the air conditioner or dehumidifier, both of which will produce condensate which will have to be dealt with.Hey guys from what I have gathered the humidity around the grow should be 70% is that correct? If so how would I go about bringing humidity down as I have an humidity of 80% right now
And yes aussieaceae is right but it would have to be bloody humid where you are to have a non sealed grow room and have 80% humidity if your refreshing your air properly i think.
