Hydro kits

There are whole threads on the bubbleponics systems, most people seem to have good results with them... although the SH Hydro web site is a bit expensive. Most people are building their own at a fraction of the price.

You should figure out what kinda of system you would perfer. I have had excelent luck with a drip system. Bubbleponics is what alot of people here are working with and having great results. Most of these systems are very simple to use. Do some research and cruise around the site to help you save money on design.

Those kits will get you going but they cost. All your paying for is convenience. If you build it yourself you will save probably 60 - 70% and would only take you a hour. Look up posts from filthyfletch as he has some awsome post that will teach you how to build one. Do some searching and you will save. And everyone will be glad to help. Good luck

The 'convenience charge' for kits of hydro gear is breathtaking.

If you understand a hydro system well enough to use it, you understand it well enough to build it. Like others have said, you'll save 60-80% over the prices of kits. There's very little you need for a grow op that you can't get from hardware and aquarium shops.

Lights, media and nutes are about all you need from ye olde hydro shoppe- and you can use converted HPS security lights from the hdwe (tho HPS grow lights are probably cheaper at most hydro shops).
