The reason i ask is because i cant find any decent flowering nutes intown for me gilrs, but theres plenty of decent hydro nutes there. So would it work??

But that hydo store should have some nuits that are just for your soil ...you might get by on things like Sea weed ...Bio weeds my fav .....Bat Gano .....fish emilosion ... Alll should be at your local store or Earth juice line is nice its organic If your doing soil do it right if you want hydo nuits use coco or peat

well it would depend what hydro nutes. most hydro nutes are made so there can be easily uptaken by plants, the bio bizz range is soil or hyro. so in short and as delstele says yes.
hydro nutes are developed to be easily and readily avaible for instant uptake,,they may change your soil ph but I actually use hydro poinc pH Up when my soil gets outta wack. you probly shouldnt but a drop per litre of water has corrected my pH no problem....
if your not sure when your buying them ask the chap/lass whats okay for soil. I presume your going to a hydro shop for hydro nutes,.infact they will probly stock soil nutes,,or dont they and thats why your asking...??
Bio bizz have a good range.thats what I use, its not the cheapest but are quailty products. O and also if you dont want hydro nutes but want somthing then anything for fruit plants,,like tomatoe fert(example as I see that sort of stuff every where)
take it easy..

'Hydro' nutrients generally have a better mineral content than 'soil' nutes because you're not going to get enough of anything in your water to grow healthy plants should your 'hydro' nutes be incomplete. 'Soil' nutes can sometimes get away with leaving out certain minerals as they may already be present in your dirt. That being said, 'hydro' nutes should probably only be used with peat-based mediums like promix rather than a ocean forest type soil.
