Hydro to soil after full maturity??

i read in the faqs that transplanting clones with long roots into soil would be bad for the plant, although i just built a flower and veg room and ive got numerous hydro containers for growth, my delema is for the "sea of green effect" to work properly i would either need to get more hydro containers or more pots to transplant into soil. my question is would this work?:confused:

If I were you i would either do one or the other, but from what I've seen from sog systems just have a quarter of your plants start and finish in soil. Or start them in rockwool when you clone them and before they start to really veg transplant them into the soil. Did this help:?:
