hydrogrow penetrator X LED

looking at the 84 or 126. Have never grown before, but i dont want to use anything but LED anyways. anyone know how many plants i could grow under a 84 with a grow tent?

im looking for like 4-6 plants eventually (legally growing :))

dunno if i should get an 84, and then get another later or get a 126. thanks for the help :D

I just ordered an 84 x pro, I plan to only grow one plant under it as it has a small foot print of 2' x 2' @ 12" above canopy. So I will say 2 small plants the most. But if your planning on growing 4 big plants you should consider the 189 x pro or 336 x pro which are design for larger footprints such as 3' x'3 and 4' x4'. It makes no sense to cluster 4 - 6 plants under such small footprint as plant do need to breathe properly. Also one plant depending on the genetics might give you just as much as having 4 plants or more in a cluster.

i may get the 126 and just a 2x2 tent with maybe 2 plants at a time flowering. trying to make up my mind. with LED seems like it would be smart to over power the area

well i have read a LOT about LEDs as of late. basically like pro cource claims their 90w ufo is equal to a 400hps because the LEDs put off as much useable light as the hps.

as for the whole fraud thing i know i know i have read it. but i have also read stuff from people who have actually gotten the penetrator xtreme pro lights and they rage about them.
if im going to be spending over a thousand bucks for grow lights i want to choose the right company with the most successful lights.

haight solid state lose in some grow tests i saw so they are out for me.
pro source is my runner up.
hydro grow is my main pick. another thing is the 90 day money back guarantee from most of these companies. im itching to order but im going to wait a few weeks to read up some more.

Can you link or PM the grow tests you've seen with the HSS lights? I've only found two decent journals with them, both on another forum. One had good results, one not as good. I got their 90w and I've been having good results with it so far, just too early into flower for me to say much about them. I'd really like to do some extra reading on the panels if you can get me the links, thanks.

Yeah I got my 84 x pro, it's very nice and loving it. Now its just for me to test out the performance of it. One of the reason I choose the new penetrator was the fact that they are modular which means no down time and you wouldn't have to send the whole unit back if something went wrong. Plus I have seen a few grows from this guy over on THCTALK called seymourbuds which prove they do have the right spectrum to bring out real quality buds. Originally I was going to get a spectra 180w as they are also proven but after seeing the modular design and how bright the new penetrators are with the xlens I had to get one. Hopes the info i provide helps you make your decision but you can also check your a few of irishboy grows on here as he uses the spectra's which I also like and are proven.
