Hydroponic leaks

Hey y'all newb here needing advice on leaks if possible. I have a 12 bucket bubbleponics rdwc which I've set up but 4 out of 12 buckets have a minor leak......I'm trying to figure out a way to seal them properly. I bought the hydroponic system the way it is with all the parts so I didn't think this would be an issue but I guess when working with water there's always leaks or maybe I'm wrong I just need some help lol. Any advice appreciated thanx again peace

That's pretty shit if you brought a system and it leaks.

Where is it leaking from? I'm assuming the drain lines at the buckets? If so check you have the soft washers on both sides and its nice and tight.

I built my own set up and have had zero leaks, so id be pissed if I paid for one and it leaked.

@kiwipaulie thanx for response and yea I'm pretty ticked bout it.....idk if it's called the drain lines but it's the bottom line which is skinnier that connects to the individual buckets that has the leak....it's a bottom top rdwc system with reservoir outside tent.....I did check the washers and their pretty tight so idk it's minor leaks but none the less that's not good

Sounds like what I call the drain or return line if you will. Here's my rangi set up I made :)

@kiwipaulie ok gotcha thanx for the pics. So the yellow round pieces are washers I assume. And yea I tightened up as far as possible but it still leaks a little. Someone else told me to disassemble and lube with soap and clean what ya think?? Is there any kind of sealant for this??

Here's a pic of my setup I put towels under to absorb any water just checked after letting it sit over night the leaks aren't bad but still there

@rkymtnman thanx for the tip . So do I put that on the inside of the bucket? Or the outer rim where the drain line is ? Or the soft washers?

i would put it everywhere a leak can pop up. inside, outside, on the washers too. you don't need much.

do it after the buckets are in place. the more you move them around, the more chance of leaks.
