Hydroponic vs Soil Gardening?

Depends what you mean by stronger. Physically? Probably comparable. Is the stone stronger? Well, it can be, but it all depends on your skill level. If this is your first grow, i wouldn't even consider a complicated hydro system. I wouldn't say go for fully organic soil either. With fully organic soil you have to take into mind things like drainage, PH, what amendments you want to use, and composts.

Personally, i like soilless mixes like sunshine mix and promix. They have excellent drainage, so you with most strains you can really bog the ferts, and if you overfeed them flushing is relatively easy. You gotta go through the bag though especially with promix, and take out any big chunks of wood or whatever cause they can degrade and cause PH problems later on. Also good to ph test the bag in the store before you buy.

Are hydroponically grown plants stronger than dirt grown ?
if by stronger you mean potency, than no. potency is all in the strain and how well its grown. hydroponic is faster though so i guess you could say the plants themselves are physically stronger as far as stem/branch thickness and such.

personally i do both. im mainly a soil guy but i also have a small hydro system. hydro is cool but right now i like soil better because when you have a lot of hps lights, it gets really expensive to try and keep your water temps down. my water temps are 80-82F doing ok but i know thats way too high. ac units are too expensive to run. dont have time atm to hook a chiller up which is far superior to an ac unit. and no way im getting rid of my hps lights. fuck CFLs they're junk for flower.
