Hydroponic watering

Hello all i need help From u experts.

I have a hydroponic top drip system.

First time growing, I am confused on how to water the plants correctly.

First do i leave the roots of the plant in the water? Or a few inches from the water?

Second do i leave the water on all day 24/7?

Leave it on all day amd if roots are showing then leave the water down from the net pot

Thanks man, and what do you mean if roots r showing? I forgot to mention i will be using clones from a motherplant from a cannabis club

What I do once I transplant into my net pot I run my water uo to the second hole in the net pot. Once roots pop out and are hanging through the net pot lower your water significantly.

I am a first time grower, and i want to grow hydro and its alot alrdy to learn lol, but i think i got the basics and theres just some small things that always come up

I personally do the dwc. I didnt like the top feed/drip system but I am on grow 2 and straight killin it with no serious issues! What nutes are u using??

I looked up the DWC and it looks good, i will try top drip once and see if DWC is easier next grow. The only difference is Top drip drips water correct?

Also I use Heavy 16, theres a Veg a and b and a Bloom A and B. The guy said its the best Hydro food, which i didnt believe, I am sure the hydro food game is similiar to the whey protein game lol, different name same ingredients.

Also are there any types of "enhancing food" or additives i should use? Also do u know of any sprays/bug killers to use on marijuana.. i want to be active rather than waiting for something to happem

Man I dont put anything on mine for mites or any of that. Never have! And yeah just keep your water lower in the top drip. Like less than half. And I have heard of them nutes but I used technaflora bc line for the first go, this one I am using cyco platinum series. It has literally everything! So as dar as advanced bloom stuff idk man! Im still somewhat new. My buddy is doing top drip and is about to harvest under a baby 50w led light. So his u cant really compare to mine
