hydroponics need help pleasee

i was wondering what kind of hydroponics system is a system that can basicly run it self so if i were to leave for a week i could depend on it i am not looking for a grow box just the hydroponic system if u could tell me what kind and were i could buy it it would be great pleaase help thanks

hi mate the best system i can think of is the auto pot best to buy single pot system an not the double as the pots are to close together you just fill the rez with x amount of water its a gravity system thats controlled buy an aqua valve that fills pot tray with water the plant then drinks an then the rez fills pot back up it also allows for a little dry period so you have a wet an dry cycle best medium i think you could use would be coco mixed with perlite about 70% coco an 30%perlite you can also add an aircage to the bottom of pot for extra o2 to the rootzone also its a good idea to put an airstone in the rez to keep nutes mixed up an to have a bit of dissolved o2 in there try searching google for autopot there is an abundance of info on these pots they are also quite cheap the bigger the res the longer you can leave also at the start you may have to top feed just for a couple of days till roots get established coco should absorb the water acting like a wick so this is my 2 pennys worth hope it helps

Yes defo the Autopot.. I swear by them.. I went away to my folks for a week came back & all was good, they fed themselves & had grown loads.. the Ph rose a little, but had no adverse effects..
