Just wondering if this would work -- say I have a screen pot (pot with holes in it) - 6", fill it with hydroton. Could I use that wick style? For example, run a cotton wick in to the container, or set the container so the bottom is sitting in water/nutes, or similar?
Would I need to bubble? seems like it should get a lot of air simply because the hydroton is not packed like soil packs down?
