Hypothetical application and use of LED vs MH vs fluorescent grow lights

So, I've come across an interesting situation recently. I've been happy with my results from growing, but I'm interested in stepping my operation up to a new level. My weakness is lighting. I run a veg cycle under T5's from clone stage while the flowering batch is under 2000w of HPS. The veg growth with fluorescent lights is slower than MH, but I can veg one batch during the entire flower cycle of another thanks to separate rooms. It allows two weeks for a clone to take roots, and 6+ weeks of veg. The T5's produce nice 18" + plants after some training and cropping, which when topped and sent to flower allow me to flower 3' plants with around 5-6 ounces per plant on average. Not bad, but room to improve.

My thought has been to toss in a 400-1000w of Hortilux blue MH light during flowering to improve the spectrum of my plants (rotating daily to ensure exposure to both types of lights). The two 1000w HPS lights will stay put. I've also considered adding sunpulse bulbs to allow 6.4K MH's during flower and a switch to 10K UVA Blue during the final two weeks. However, I've seen some impressive results from the new breed of LED ligths, specifically Kessil purple penta band lights.

As such, I pose a theoretical question to the community. If you were to supplement your lighting, which route would you prefer? Adding a Eye Hortilux blue MH 400 or 1000w to flower for spectrum, adding Sunpulse MH's at 6.4K and switching to 10K at the end, or adding 2 Kessil style LED's to improve spectrum. The idea would be to possibly crossover to supplementing the veg with similar tech at some point, but its primarily directed at improving the flowering spectrum. Where do you feel the best results would be? I use a modified scrog style/ trained cropped grow, so the lack of penetration from LED's is a somewhat irrelevant downfall.

I'm leaning towards LED's for simplicity and longevity, but its close. Any input from experienced users would be wonderful, as well as thought out theoretical guess work. + rep for answers, thanks guys!

Suggest you think other than Kessil they are failing all over as they are nothing more than RGB leds with very unstable drivers look at the threads lots of complaints and returns at our local stores for the same problems being stated on this and other sites. IMO

Thats interesting Swusaz, I have not heard anything other than positive reports and excitement about Kessil. Can you link to some negative threads for me please, it would be very helpful. Thanks!

Well, I did a bit more research around the forums, and I read up on ceramic metal halides as well. Gotta be honest, I'm pretty torn here, not sure which option to go with. Any input from other members here would be awesome. :)
